TECHNOLOGY & EDUCATION

Microsoft HoloLens - Fall 2021

TCG identified augmented reality applications in higher education institutions and explore strategies for effective marketing given the closing of brick-and-mortar stores as a result of the COVID pandemic. To gain primary-perspective insights, TCG conducted interviews with higher education faculty to better understand the demand for HoloLens 2 in a variety of educational fields, including veterinary, dentistry, and technology. In addition, TCG conducted market and competitive analysis to pinpoint unique advantages of HoloLens 2 and tangential markets for expansion opportunities.

TRANSPORTATION

Lyft Rentals - Spring 2021

TCG led an engagement for the Lyft Rentals team to explore the viability of Lyft Rentals in Los Angeles and San Francisco. TCG conducted extensive market research, including competitor analysis, market segmentation assessments, and competitor fleet approximations, in order to provide a comprehensive recommendation for Lyft. TCG developed an entry strategy for Lyft in the car rental market, synthesizing market share calculations and empirical research on advertising channels to support a novel market entry recommendation.

Client Testimonials

“Working with TCG in Fall 2022 exceeded all of my expectations. The entire team was professional, prepared and energetic from start to finish. We partnered on a broad scope supply chain project to map out the most efficient supply chain with considerations such as supplier locations, current distribution locations and final delivery points, both current and future. Once provided the scope of the project, TCG came back with thought-out questions for better understanding. We had a mid-point presentation to review progress and provide direction as need. During this presentation, I was able to provide honest feedback that was well received by TCG and the final presentation was phenomenal.

The professionalism is what really did it for me. On every Zoom call, the entire team was engage and professionally dressed. This is usually the least of my concern but going the extra mile, they really showed how dedicated they are to their client. I would highly recommend their service to anyone fortunate enough to be in the position to work with TCG!”

"I had the pleasure of working with TCG in Fall 2015 as they researched how Teach For America could increase STEM applications...With TCG’s leadership, Teach For America is now piloting a Student Ambassador Program, hosting info sessions with top Fortune 500 companies like Deloitte, and using alumni for more recruitment efforts...

As a result, USC had 64% of STEM applications that were from of people of color, 37% STEM met as a prospect registered to apply, and 30% STEM met a as a prospect applied (all stats higher than the national average).

I have observed the students in TCG perform excellently while taking a variety of rigorous challenging courses and having leadership responsibilities in college. As a result of TCG’s strong academic success, social skills, and leadership foundation along with their desire to get the most of any experience, it is with pleasure that I give them my overwhelming recommendation and support.

I strongly believe TCG’s energetic presence will add value to any organization."
